Tulum, snorkeling with turtles and breathtaking cenote
Explore the underwater world of Turtle Bay in Akumal and observe the magnificent sea turtles. Admire with us the ruins of the ancient Mayan city of Tulum and not only that, but also explore what treasures are hidden underground in the Yucatan jungle – crystal clear water in caves with hundreds of stalactites and stalagmites.
Tulum Mayan Ruins – this archaeological zone of the original Mayan city of Tulum is the only one of its kind located on the coast with breathtaking views of the clear waters of the Caribbean. The city was an important Mayan trading port and crossroads.
You will then head to Turtle Bay in Akumal, where you will be provided with full snorkeling equipment and of course tuition. A one-hour visit awaits you among the underwater habitants of the warm coastal waters of Akumalu. Every day, 3 out of 7 species of sea turtles, stingrays and shoals of more than 50 other species of brightly colored fishes swim here among the beautiful corals.
Another adventure awaits you in the subtropical forest. Descend with us underground and admire the clear waters of the local cenotes. We will start with guided tour of giant flooded limestone caves, the beauty of which you will not only be able to admire, but also swim and snorkel in one of them.
Then you will enjoy a typical Yucatan lunch with the star dish, the local specialty cochinita pibil.
