The full-day trip includes a visit to the most famous Mayan city Chichen Itzá, a traditional Yucatecan lunch and a swim in the Saamal cenote at Hacienda Selva Maya, a tequila tasting and a visit to the town of Valladolid.
Chichén Itzá is the most famous, best reconstructed and most visited Mayan city. This city is on the UNESCO list and it is one of the Seven modern wonders of the world. Here you will see, for example, the most famous pyramid of Kukulkán (El Castillo), the Temple of the Warriors (Templo de los Guerreros), the Caracol, or Mayan observatory, or the ball game field (Juego de Pelota).
After visiting Chichen Itza, you will go to Hacienda Selva Maya to taste local Yucatec specialties, where there is also a beautiful cenote Saamal. The cenote is a limestone cave with a crystal clear pool with turquoise water. Swimming in refreshing water is a wonderful experience.
